Wipes Brand
PowerPoint Template

Who says that you can’t create beautiful things
in PowerPoint?

When the client couldn’t provide a PowerPoint template, I stepped in! I offered to create a custom deck complete with theme master, theme colors, fonts, dividers and content layouts. Created from scratch, it was my goal to match the client branding as much as possible while also finding the best way to showcase research findings.

This custom template was used beyond the initial project - utilized in proceeding research reporting and presentations!

My Process

When starting from scratch, I do my own research. If the client can’t provide a style guide, it’s my job to utilize whatever I can find on my own. I started by browsing the client’s website, taking note of their preferred font treatment, color information and photo styles. Anything I could find that gave me insight I noted! Next I looked through social media accounts and blogs, trying to understand the brand tone as a whole. Was the client serious or fun-loving? Did they interact with customers? What kind of problem were they trying to solve?

After I was satisfied with my notes, I started in PowerPoint’s theme master. I specified theme colors, fonts, and slide layouts available for use. Using placeholders, I vaguely set up 15 different layouts to use as guidelines for the impending presentation.

Finally, I set up a general style guide so that any other designer opening my file could understand my vision and intent behind all my decisions. Then, I got to work with actually adding content! I created general layouts we commonly use for research reports, created generic charts, and added images that I believed matched the brands aesthetic.

My Showcase

These slides I’m showing to right are a showcase of my slide master slides and some general layouts I set up for the first research report. These are not all the slides I created - however, I believe these are some of the best!

The content itself has been blinded - all data and findings have been removed to protect the confidentiality of the client. Dummy data has been included instead. However, all visuals remain the same so you can view the overall impact of the presentation deck.
